You could buy the cage-free organic eggs Costco sells, as we have done.<br /><br />The inhumane treatment of chickens, pigs, cows and other animals in U.S. factory farms has been a national disgrace for decades. In other words, it is likely the eggs you were buying before you joined Costco were from the same or another supplier who confined the chickens.<br /><br />At the same time, shoppers complain about prices at Whole Foods Market and other stores that sell organic eggs, meat and poultry, as well as wild-caught and drug-free farmed fish, so what can you do?<br />Victor E. And I saw this video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeabWClSZfI) about how Costco lets its egg suppliers lock chickens in cages. It’s pretty disgusting! The video even shows, at a Costco supplier, birds forced to share cages with the mummified corpses of their dead cage mates.
